I need to replace my video card for ATY, RV251, 128 MB PN 102A5850520. Are there
any out there? I have a Powermac G5 bought July 2005.

Thanks, Vicki

Thank you

Nick,

Do you know how close the numbers appearing in the upper right hand
corner of the card have to match?

My # is 109-A58503-20. I have seen cards on e-bay with all numbers the
same except for the last 2?

I have horizontal lines all over my screen which are getting worse. I have been
told that it is the video card. I already check and changed connections.

As far as I know...as long as it's a Radeon 9600 that came from another Powermac G5...it should work in your computer.

FYI...do not buy a Radeon 9600 card if it's the Windows PC version...it won't work.

Before lashing out on another card Vicki, remove the current card, give the contacts a good wipe over, and reseat the card very firmly. Dust and loose cards often give the same diagnosis as a failed card.
