Mail reappearing in my inbox after deletion

It started off with the same junk mail reappearing after deletion. Now my messages in my inbox are reappearing after I've deleted them. I've tried emptying the mail trash but this doesn't work either. Any ideas?

Someone or a "bot" may have gotten your email password and is using your address to send out mail which may be why your mail is re-appearing in your in box. Go to your mail provider's web address and change your password. Use a strong password that includes numbers and characters.
