Jerky Cursor Movement in Adobe Audition CS6

Lately, after upgrading to Maverick, the cursor in Audition CS6 has been moving in jerky movements. It is very annoying while editing. My system is iMac desktop with 12 GB RAM. I close all other programs and run Audition only, still it does not help. Does going back to Mountain Lion help? Anyone else having this problem?
