problem exporting imovie 11

I have created a movie on imovie11 of 25 mins with pics and video. When I try to share to theater, it states I am creating movie, but after an hour waiting, the progress bar has not moved. Any suggestions?

Have you tried exporting the video to mpeg-4?

After 2-3 hours, it finally rendered to an mp4. I have no patience. I guess I cried wolf too soon. Thanks for reading my post.
