Charging UK iBook in US

Hello

I am travelling to the USA next month and am planning to take my iBook. Will it charge in my hotel room if I just plug the UK socket into a UK--->US converter and plug the converter into the socket?

Yes.
The adapter can handle all voltages, so you'll just need an adapter for the different shape of the plug.

You could also buy the usa adapter for your mains charger I bought two last tiem as I had both powerbooks with me. They are fairly cheap and are awesome as I am hopelss at remebering to carry adapters.
