I have a 250 GB drive on my 2013 MacBookPro, and until before Xmas I have had "stuff" occupying some 150 GB of the drive.
With no new software, I now have a mere 15GB left.
I have removed every image both on the desk top and in Pictures and movies.
In Finder, there are no images to be seen.
I have emptied the Trash completely.

What is it that I am missing?

Thanks.

Suggest you grab one of the apps mentioned in this thread.

Highly recommend WhatSize out of that list.
When you open it, one of the items at the top is "As User" with a lock - click on that.
It will then promote you to admin and reveal all hidden & system files.
Don't go deleting anything that you don't know what it is.

Are you using Time Machine to backup?

Thanks.
Found out that my "House" TV iTunes library was to blame!
Not sure about TimeMachine but will look it up.

Thanks

Saving seasons worth of TV shows sure can eat up a whole lot of space real quick.
