An Idea for a Programmer

I had an idea for a web browser program it may already exsist but i havent seen it anyway...... I want a program that lets me type my bookmark names in the web address bar instead of the actual address.. Say I bookmarked mac-forums.com and named it macforums.... then i could go to my address bar and type "macforums" and it would go to www.mac-forums.com is this possible? let me know what you guys think...

You can do this with the Safari Stand plugin...
I can set up shortcut names for certain addresses, for example typing g and then a search word searches google for that word.
Or just typing am takes me to my ampliphonic homepage...
