Optical Drive Problem

I am running a late 2009 Mac, and am experiencing problem in ejecting music cd's after they have been ripped into iTunes. Am now on my third optical drive, fitted under warranty by Apple, and have had machine back to them 4x times..."we can't replicate your problem, sorry.." Anyone can offer any assistance?

Slot loading optical drives are problematic and experience a high failure rate. Which is probably one of the reasons why Apple has abandoned them on all its new Macs. The only thing I can suggest is to buy a can of compressed air and blow a few blasts in the slot to see if that clears any dust or dirt that may be blocking the laser light. If that doesn't work, the drive is likely faulty and should be replaced again.
