How jailbreak unactivated iPhone 5s?

Hello,

New to the forum but so far I have found it very helpful.

I need to jailbreak an iPhone 5s that I own that is unactivated. Is there anyway that I could do this? I have tried evasiOn7 but it needs me to be activated.

put a sim card in it from the carrier it is locked to and activate it

? It is aloud to talk about jail breaking here now. Man I've been gone a long time.

Jailbreaking was (finally) declared legal in the US by the Office of Copyright, so it is no longer in violation of the (draconian craptastic) DMCA and thus able to be discussed here now. Unlocking your iPhone without the carrier's permission is still illegal in the US.

And yes, you have been gone a long time! Welcome back!
