Upgrade CPU on mac pro

Does anyone know if you can upgrade intel processors on an early 2008 mac pro?
I currently have 2 X intel zeon 2.33Ghz.
If I can, is it just a matter of popping them in, or would I need to re-instal OS as well?
What sort of speed (Ghz) could I take the new ones up to?

Well Sultan will depend on whether you have a single or dual 2.8GHz. Upgrading a single is easier.
