When I'm typing to write or reply to an email in MacMail, the cursor will arbitrarily jump to another line, sometimes 2 or 3 lines, either up or down, and sometimes wind up in the middle of a word! I notice that it's disappeared and have to look for it to get it back to its place.

Have any of you heard of something like this? Is there a virus or something that does this? I've run my anti-this and anti-that but haven't found anything suspicious. Thanks in advance for your help.

Could you be brushing the touchpad on the MBP and causing the cursor to move? I've done that a coupe of times, had to learn to hold my hands up (particularly the lazy thumbs) to avoid all kinds of craziness.

Thanks, Jake. That's a definite possibility.
