I'm having major startup issues...it turned itself off and then when starting up it was going to the startup apple circle screen (with chimes) and then it turned itself off again and basically now it has decided to start stop start stop start stop with a red glow at the back of the tower when you hold down the power button.
Strangely enough, pulling out the hard drive and generally blowing the dust off stuff, the 'fiddle factor' has not helped ;/
So now I am bowing down to your abundance of knowledge and hoping that you guys can help a damsel in distress
