Just this instant (7.50am Friday 1/31 Australian Eastern Summer Time) received an email from Apple Discussions.....advising Apple Support Communities are undergoing scheduled maintenance 10pm PT today .. December 20 2013!

Dashed near missed the closures!!!

LOL. I can remember back when I was on a government job in Florida our paychecks and travel allowances would be sent to us by mail. I missed getting one of my bi-weekly checks and put a claim in for a replacement. Six weeks later I received a replacement for the missing check and 3 months later when I was back home the original missing check arrived!

(And yes, I returned it to our paymaster in DC) ;)

Love these stories of 'snail' mail showing up decades later - one such story of the card shown below - mailed from a soldier in WW I (1916) to his sister - delivered in 2010, 94 years later! WOW - :) Story HERE - Dave
