Every time I open Safari, it opens to all the Tabs I had opened when I quit the application. I have my home page set to a specific site in Preferences, but I don't see any setting where you tell Safari to open to the Home Page.

I'm running Maverick.

My Pref/General page does not have a line with "Safari Opens With."

Weird, what version of safari are you running then ?
I am on 7.0.1 on OS X 10.9.1

At the same time, you might want to uncheck that check box at the bottom ..... " Open Safe file ..... " .... This is a serious vulnerability. ( Just saying )

Ooops, I missed that .... must have had a blond moment :)

That is even more weird and will require some research.
Maybe another member can chime in an provide a clue.
If I find something I will post back.

Could it be a corrupt safari Plist file ?

To test that ...

1) Quit Safari

2) Using the Finder, navigate to ~/Library/Preferences

3) Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.

4) Restart Safari.

If that fixes it, you can trash the plist file that you put on your desktop in step 3
If it is not fixed, you can copy that same file back from the desktop to the preferences folder where it was originally.

Cheers ... McBIe

I had this option turned off.

Choose to start a new browsing session or resume your last session when you open Safari.

This option isn’t shown if “Close windows when quitting an application” is turned off in the General pane of System Preferences (or with OS X v10.7.5, “Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps” is turned on in the General pane of System Preferences).
