Hi,
first post - hope I'm in the right place
I have an iMac on which I do 95% of my work.
Under Volumes I have:
OS and Apps
Data.
I also have a MacBook for travelling and under Volumes I have:
Macintosh HD
I have common software across both which reference full file paths. I'd like to make an alias or something so that on the MacBook Volumes/Data/* will map to Volumes/Macintosh HD/* so that I can copy across configuration/bookmark/reference files between both machines seamlessly.
This will allow me to have effectively identical file structures on both machines under Volumes/Data/*
I hope that makes sense!
Edit - not sure if it's relevant but the MacBook is running Mavericks and the iMac 10.8.5 (Lion?)
