Can't connect to router

Hello,

Well first off, just bought my IMAC!!!!! 17 INch yah baby. hahaha my first mac.

Ok here is the problem, it detects my routers signal but can not connect to my router. I am connected on my neighbors wireless signal.

Has anyone had this problem?

Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.
does your router have a wep?

Yes it has a wep. I have put in the proper security code for the WEP and it still does not connect to it.

It can detect the signal but it doesnt connect to it. My brohers mac mini is on the router, it works fine with this mac mini.

Problem fixed!

I did not know you had to select certain type ofhex. I set it to 40/80 bit hex. Before i had it set to default.
