ICal icon has disappeared from my dock

ICal icon has disappeared from my dock. Someone on this site suggested to go to Finder and Applications and copy ICal and drag it to the dock area. I tried that but the ICal is not in my applications folder. Now what must I do?

Hi

In Finder, in the sidebar under "devices", click on your computer. A new menu should appear just to the right of the sidebar. In it, click on Macintosh HD, then Applications. Your iCal app should be in there - just drag it back to "Applications" on the first sidebar. Once it's back, drag it to your dock.

What OS are you running? The newer ones are called Calendar, not iCal.
