For some reason, whenever I get mail, I get two notices in Notification Center. One right after the other.
I've checked the preferences in Notification Center and in Mail. Nothing to suggest a problem.
Any suggestions?

Texas, where else?
Your Mac's Specs

Have seen reports of double and triple notices from mail.

Open Sys Pref - Notifications

Try dragging Mail to the Not in Notifications section - have to scroll down to see it - and it can be a pitr, especially if nothing is in that area - took me 2 or 3 trys to get it there.
Close out, reboot, then add it back in.

Well, that didn't work. Any more suggestions?

EDIT: Ok, here's a thought. In Activity Monitor, I have 2 instances of 'Mail Web Content' running. I checked the wife's computer and she only has one (same system, same iMac).
Wonder what could be causing this? What starts this anyway, anyone know?

Edit 2: Ok when I disable my 2 pop accounts (leaving Gmail) it doesn't do it. When I put them back I get 2 notifications again. Weird.
