HI,

I believe that you cannot do this with iPhoto. You will need a 3rd party app (Double Take http://echoone.com/DoubleTake/ or Panoweaver are examples) or the camera manufacturers' software if provided for Mac.

I've just got a new iPhone 5C and it has a panoramic feature in the camera app which I haven't used yet though I would expect the whole shot to be imported into iPhoto as a consequence.
