I am trying to find my way around Numbers. I have selected the basic blank template (not the one with no grid lines). When I complete my table and select print view I can see all the gridlines. However, when I print some of the horizontal gridlines are missing. There does not appear to be a pattern to the missing lines and information within the various cells is consistent throughout. The Numbers help does not appear to give any hint on the printing of the gridlines.

It sounds like a printer issue. I just printed a Numbers file and all gridlines printed, but I had to set that up first in my particular file. Run your printer utility to clean the heads or align them and then use the test print to see if it helps.
