Hello everyone. I have a question on upgrading my MacBook Pro. I have a 2010 13 inch Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz. It has 4gb of ram and a 250gb HD. I run a lot of Adobe Programs and it really just seams to run slow all the time and when I run the Adobe software it really bogs down. Is it possible to upgrade it to where I would need it to run these programs sufficiently or do I need a more powerful machine all together?

You can add RAM. Apple says 8Gb max, MacTracker says 16Gb. Either should help. You could also replace the HD with an SSD.

If that doesn't do it, than you would need a more powerful Mac.

EDIT: you have a 250Gb HD, performance begins to take a hit when disk free space drops under 15 to 20 percent. It's possible you need to delete or move files, or get a bigger HD.

Ok, thanks I think I am going to give upgrading a shot before shelling out the money for a new one.
