Notes with iCloud

Your Mac's Specs
13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
Using the Notes App on my iMac, I made an edit to a note, but when I checked to see if iCloud synched it, it had created a duplicate. Why is this?

1. Is your default account for notes set to iCloud on all devices?
2. Where are you seeing the duplicate? iCloud.com or other Macs or devices?
3. Can you replicate the issue with a new note?
