Before Mavericks and a clean reinstall, I had a highly workable PDF annotating tool, which I can no longer find nor remember the name of.
Unlike the current annotations tool, you could, for example, select a point in the text and drag to an open area on the page. The software would form a text box at the release point and leave an arrow from the box to the text point.
If someone knows the name, perhaps I could find or reinstall it.
