I have an iPad 1 (and newer iPads) and want to wipe it. But I thought I read that they’re not supported anymore.

Will I have any problems hitting “erase all content and settings” aside from having to reload emails, pics, etc.

Pics are saved on iMac, so this iPad is just for futzing around.

Just hook it up to your Mac and open iTunes if it does not open automatically and choose reset. It's still recognized and supported - no problem.

Thanks. I was hoping that would be the answer.

The iPad 1 is certainly slower than either of our others, but it was a gift, so what the heck, you know? Use it til it breaks for little things.
