I don't think that's possible since iWeb is designed specifically to remove the user from the code. Is there any particular reason that you want to do this?

And also, iWeb is no longer developed

Something like Freeway or Flux is a better fit

As well as Joomla or Wordpress are better database driven platforms for maintaining a website

Why iWeb

Thanks for your interest. I like iWeb for how easy it is to post and to make changes. I went to my ISP and at their recommend used Filezilla. Worked well. I twon't be very easy if I want to make changes. I hope your 2014 luck is all good.

I copied iWeb app from a time machine backup and the data file (I forget where) and it runs fine on 10.8.x. My only beef is the banner across the top (for multiple pages) does not show in Internet Explorer from a file. I have to put it in dropbox and then access it like a public file.
