Let me begin with I lost the original iLife discs for my Macbook. I have moved 4-5 times since 05 and I assume it just got lost in one of the moves.
I have copied over what I think are all of the GB application support files and the Audio > Apple Loops files.
I have seen some people say the stock files are in a Sampler folder than does not exist on my original Macbook. I have searched for the names of the stock instruments in finder, but I cannot find anything with the same names. I can still use the Garageband stock software instruments on my old Mac, so I assume the source files have to be there somewhere? and ultimately I can just find them and copy them over to my new Mac?
Please help!
