Help me transfer files between a mac and a pc please!

Hello people, I want to put a 10gb file on my flash drive then put that drive into my windows 8 pc but my windows OS wont detect the flash drive because the drive was formatted as ext4 for mac and if I use FAT32 it will not work

Is the flash drive formatted to HFS+? You can't use EXT4 because your Mac can not write to it. Format the flash drive to HFS+ and then you'll be able to transfer the 10 GB file to your Windows PC.
