so my imac froze & I googled what to do & followed this suggestion of holding down alt+command+r+p keys when powering on.

I hit repair disk permission. It's telling me Permissions repair complete. Now what???? Do I do Repair Disk - just close it?? I'm afraid to touch my computer.

Please help!

Select the disk just as you did when verifying permissions. Now select "repair disk" Depending upon the size of the disk and number of errors to repair it may take several minutes to finish.
