I own a Apple Time Capsule which has begun to start clicking so i guess the drives going home (Meaning Breaking Down).

My Question is if i buy a new replacement drive would i be able to still use if i moved them across all my Backups ?

Hi,
I'm a little unclear as to what your intention is here. Do you intend to still want to use the failing TC? I wouldn't recommend it if you think it's pegging it.

What I would do is get a replacement Ext HD or new TC and set that up and do a full Time Machine Back up as soon as possible.

Thanks for your reply pendlewitch

The angle I'm coming from is the actual TC is fine but its the Hard Drive in side that is clicking.

What I'm asking is if i bought a replacement Hard Drive would i be able if the drive in the TC is still able to transfer contents to the new drive and carry on as if nothing had happened ?

Regards
