kernel panic

Hello everyone!

i have an iMac 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo that came with the ram:
1 +1 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

however i have expanded to 2 + 2 GB memory and put the following:
Kingston PC2 - 6400 CL6 200 - Pin SODIMM

now it started to kernel panic

is it this memory that is causing this?
if yes, which should i put?

To find out if the new memory is causing the kernel panics, remove them and replace with the original memory modules. The Kingston memory is the correct memory for your iMac, however, you may have received bad memory or you don't have the new modules seated correctly. Re-seat them first and if you still get a kernel panic, replace them with the old modules and return those where you purchased them from.

We recommend buying memory from either Other World Computing (Mac Sales) or Crucial.
