I took a full USB thumbdrive to my friends house to show him a few files. After he downloaded them on his Windows system I deleted all the files from the drive. Now today when I went to refill the drive my Mac says the drive is full, yet shows no files in the finder menu.
How the **** do I get my Mac to see the drive is empty?

i dont have no mac's
what probably happened is that you did not empty the trash on your friends computer, so therefore your memory stick still has all of its stuff on it. reformat it and it will be fine
