I had an issue a while back and had to quickly install a wireless keyboard for my imac. (HP) I now have a new wired keyboard (Mac) and removed the wireless one. I now have issues, sometimes when I reboot, it still requires the wireless one to enter password. How can I permanently remove this. So I can just use my wired one 24/7.

I need wireless config for the keyboard to be removed.

I've never heard of a Mac requiring the wireless keyboard to enter your log on password when a wired keyboard was attached? The wired keyboard should override the wireless one. I use both a wireless and wired keyboard for my iMac and the wired keyboard always overrides the wireless or blue tooth keyboard.

The only thing I can think of is that you've got HP software installed for the HP wireless keyboard and it's activating upon startup. Did you install any HP software when you used the keyboard?
