I'm not understanding how I'm constantly running out of storage space on my phone. When I go to my storage settings it says that the thing that's taking up the most space (6.5 gigs) are Messages, and when I click on that it says saved messages. I've deleted all of my text messages and iMessages on my phone, and it still says 6.5 gigs are being taken up by Messages. How do I get rid if these and free up space?
What is taking up so much room on my iPhone5? Saved messages?

Are you syncing your data through the cloud? If you are, you'll have to delete the messages at the source otherwise they'll still show up on your iPhone. I'm assuming here it's referring to email.
