I would appreciate input on the best virus scan of Mac Book. Having issue with popups, redirecting etc and was wondering any software that could help get rid of that. Thank you

Do you have a pop up blocker turned on in your browser? Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera all have a built in pop up blocker that you can turn on from preferences. Pop ups are not viruses. And since there are no viruses in the wild (malware yes) that can infect your Mac, there should be no need to install AV software. If you still wish to install an AV program, post back and we'll recommend some.

First thing to do in whichever browser you are using, delete all the plugins/extensions that are installed.

In Safari you would go to Safari - Preferences - Extensions
