You might get a better response if you specify the name of the software and where it's from (website).

Try it. The major structural differences between OS versions isn't huge and since it supports Mountain Lion, it may very well support Mavericks.

Just a note - Winebottler (and by extension Wine) are by no means going to let you run all Windows apps flawlessly. Take a look here to see if your app is supported before going through all of the trouble.

It works. I'm using it to run some old Windows games. However, its installation routines are not up to par with that of Crossover. I also use Crossover and I can tell you that installing a Windows program with Crossover is very easy.

But as others have mentioned, it depends on which Windows program you're trying to install.

As I noted, not all software will run using emulation layers like wine (what WineBottler uses). What software are you trying to run? There might be better options available including Boot Camp (actually installing Windows to the Mac) or virtualization (running Windows in a virtual machine).

WineBottler is not going to recognize that application. You'll have to try to install it as "other" and give WineBottler manual instructions on the installation. If you download the latest version of WineBottler it comes with a list of Windows apps that it can install automatically, however, it's a short list. As I stated above, CrossOver is much better but it's not free.

You need to use the attachment function (click the paper clip in the toolbar when you respond) to attach pictures.

Is that error something you see after you've installed it or during the install?

As an aside, minitab has a bronze ranking which means that it might work but you're going to be running into trouble at some point. If using this is important to accomplish some work, I'd be thinking about a VM or Boot Camp.

There should be an upload button at the top:

Is your copy of Minitab licensed to you or is it something you downloaded from their web site, perhaps a trial version?

Yeah, a trial version is not licensed until you purchase it and the developer sends you a serial number.
