Recommended OS X Business/Productivity Apps

Hi everyone,

I have a budget for App Store apps that I need to get through quite soon. Can you guys recommend good Business or Productivity apps from the App Store that I should look at? We wouldn't use anything that involves graphics or video...we're engineers :D

Classical case of needing to use it before I lose it!

You should elaborate on what exactly you need the software to do, not what it doesn't need to do.

I'm after recommendations of decent apps that people use on a daily basis. Examples would be Numbers, Pages, the Omni apps, a mind map tool, Day One, etc.

I have an allocation and if I find something that may improve my workflow, I'll spend it.
