I keep getting messages, " the certificate for this website is invalid" and some sites won't load, facebook is one of the. How do I stop this?

First make sure your Mac is set on the correct date and time. If it's not, sites won't accept certificates.

Thanks, that worked. So simple, I have been messing around with that for about 3 hours.:)
