keeping the os x clean and tidy

can anyone please advise me on how to keep my machine clean and tidy as ive been installing and un installing alot of programs over the last week and now wehn i turn my G5 on its taking alot longer to boot up.

anyone help?

mac janitor and onyx from versiontracker are good apps to use

I use OnyX, works great.. Also after dragging the program to the trash..From your desktop under file.. find.. the program name.. drag what comes up to the trash.

is there a proper way of uninstalling programs? all I know it to drag it to the trash, but some programs use a install package for installing those any different?

there will be a recipit in your libary nothing to worry about what so ever

once a week.. nope can't use it to much.
