I am a novelist/scriptwriter in the process of donating my papers (mostly old drafts of manuscripts) to a university. They have to be in hard copy. Many of these were written using an obsolete word processing program called XyWrite. They are readable in Word, but ugly. Word prints out all the XyWrite formatting commands (for margins, indents, spacing etc), and in the screenplays there are a LOT of them. At the same time, of course, those commands mean nothing to Word, so the documents are all incorrectly formatted. So I have two questions, the first is by far the most important:
1. Is there a quick way (ie other than Find/Replace) to remove the old formatting commands?
2. That being done, is there a quick way to reformat the screenplays?
