Not charging

My ipod touch 3 is not charging. I've used a different charging... i tried holding down the two buttons for 10 sec. no luck. It was working perfectly fine, then died and now wont charge. When you plug it into the charger, the charging icon pops up, but it's not actually charging. help!!!

Plugged ipod touch to my computer and itunes isnt detecting. My other ipod touch that's working fine and charging... itunes detects that one.
