I have a Mac with OS 10.9 (Maverick);
I bought parallels 9;
I want to install leopard in parallels;
When I try to install Leopard, it comes with the following message:
"Mac Os X virtual machines can have only Mac OS X Server Leopard or Mac OS Snow Leopard operating system installed. Other versions of Mac OS are not supported".
Does this means that I cannot instal Snow Leopard in Parallels when my Mac has Maverick as an operating system? My Mac is brand new.

Generally speaking...Parallels is a way to install the Windows OS (virtually) onto a Macintosh computer. But it does seem to be possible to install a version of the Mac OS into Parallels.

Here are some instructions (link below) from the Parallels website. It's a bit dated (older version of Parallels & a different version of the Mac OS)...but I'm guessing the procedure should be basically the same for what you want to do:
