I have all my music on a NAS which is only turned on when I want to listen to music.
I have a MBP with OS 10.8.5 and iTunes with 11.1.3 (8) and an iPhone with 7.0.4
I want to transfer some music from the NAS to the phone. I selected the Sync Music box on the iPhone page in iTunes. Then I chose Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.
I check marked those Artists I wanted to sync with the phone.
When I chose Sync at the bottom of the tab it did it's thing, but on the phone itself there are only 1 album from each artist selected. It appears as if it is the newest album from each artist. I know that several artists have many albums but they didn't transfer.
Any suggestions?
Plus, should I even be syncing if my music is on the NAS and not always on? I have this picture that if I connect my phone, have iTunes open, and it automatically syncs then the music will be removed from the phone since they aren't available in iTunes.
