Today, my teen and I both updated our phones to OS7. When I text certain people and they reply, my teen also gets that snippet of the conversation.
HELP!!!

My guess is that you are both signed in to iCloud using the same email address.

Check the iCloud and iMessage settings on your child's phone - make sure that he/she has a unique account.

We have two different emails that are sharing the Apple account.
This was never an issue until we updated today...
My teen is signed out of iCloud and it seems to have worked. Only teen's email/phone is listed under iMessage now.
Do you think this will do the trick?

Shortly following installation of iOS7, you are prompted to setup iCloud. It's possible that you (or your child) may have inadvertently linked accounts.

That should do it.

I'm sure we did. We both use the same account, but I guess we had not both linked before.
Thanks again for all the help!

In case you didn't find it yet, on both phones look in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. Probably both have the same email account checked.
