Entourage help

Each time I hit send/receive to get my inbox emails, I get 2000 emails that I have already read and largely deleted. The large amount is due to my recent return from vacation. But how do I stop this repetitious download of already seen emails into my inbox?

I'm no longer familiar with Entourage, but I believe there is an option to remove mail from the server once it has been downloaded. Look for that setting. Otherwise, access the server direct using the web address, sign in and remove the mail messages manually. Could be a lot of work though.

I believe you are correct Chscag - there's an option in the set-up/preferences to remove all from the server after the initial download.
