I have an MacBook Pro and a home network. Had a Black Armor NAS 110 attached and it failed. Purchased a OWC Elite Pro and installed NAS drive into new case and attached via USB to MacBook.

How can I recover data from the NAS drive???

Thanks for all input.

The best bet would be to put the disk in another Black Armor NAS 110 case.

Each NAS can format the drive with a different file system, so you'll have to check how your drive was formatted in order to make sure you can access it though a USB port.

Joster,

THANKS! That's probably the easiest thing to do. I was also wondering if I just could order the controller board for the unit, replace it and go from there. But don't know if you can just by the board. Any thoughts on that???
