Unable to empty trash

Does anyone know how to empty the trash? I saw how to fix this problem in a copy of Mac Magazine, but do not have access to it now.

Are you having issues doing it? Otherwise, right click it and select the empty option.

8001 - that's a new one to me.

Try rebooting as suggested. If that doesn't work, take a look here.
