Clearning up MBA memory

Hi all,

Whats the best way or programme to use so I can free up some memory?

Preferably something easy and clear to use as I am a complete beginner to my MBA.

Which version of OS X are you using? And what MacBook Air do you have; year and model? A quick answer is to allow the operating system to handle the memory. Since you can not add memory to a MacBook Air, it's best to let OS X take care of the memory for you. Also, if you haven't already done so, upgrade to Mavericks as it does a much better job of handling memory than previous versions of OS X.

Or do you mean free up some hard drive space which folk often miscall 'memory'?
