Hi

I am just about to re set (as in clean install etc) my mac and I want to keep my final cut pro

Im trying to copy Final Cut to USB but this message keeps coming up:

'The operation can’t be completed because an item with the name “Final Cut Pro already exists'

does anybody have any idea how to copy the app to usb so I dont loose it when I reset my mac?

thanks

If you have at least one of these backup methods in place on an external hard drive, all of your apps and preferences will be preserved and easily transferred after your clean install. No need to copy one app or another to a USB drive.

Reinstall Final Cut Pro from your original disk or if you purchased it from the Mac App store you can download it again for free. You do have an original copy, right?
