Mail Problem- Sometimes sends 2 emails

My mail sometimes sends 2 emails when I send an email.
Also, if I use my mouse to delete an email in the Mail email list, it sometimes deletes 2 emails.
This double stuff only happens in Mail, never in any other program or on the web.

Any suggestions for a possible fix?

Will "assume" your issue is with an Outlook or hotmail account - the problem is apparently on the MS side with their new iMAP setup.

Nope, I have only my Mac Mail as my main email account and that is where the problem is.

It was there before I upgraded to Maverick BTW.

I use a Logitech wired mouse, could it be a setting on that?
