How to get Mavericks back after reformatting my hard drive.

I need to reformat my hard drive several times before selling my 2011 Mac Mini. I'm using a ssd as my boot drive. But after reformatting it, how do I get my operating system (Mavericks) back?

Do you have a spare hard drive that can be attached internally or via Usb. Try using carboncopy if still available. Then simply direct the software to the spare drive.
